Welcome to my blog! Though I usually write mystery novels, one of the biggest mysteries in my world has always been how to keep a handle on the messiness of life.
For the past few years, I've been learning to think outside of the box to find solutions to many of my biggest household challenges. (I have also grown ever more grateful for God's unending grace no matter how much the laundry hamper is overflowing!)
In my book The House That Cleans Itself, I show how you can use creative problem-solving to get your home—and your life—in order. With this blog, I hope to explore this topic even further, respond to your specific challenges, and consider many different ideas for how we can all go from "messed" to "blessed."

Hi Readers, I just wanted to let you know that the next part of my interview with Jill will be posted here soon. Today I decided to interrupt the regularly scheduled program to bring you this little video I made instead. Hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. Too cute! I'll keep taking photos as the birdies grow (as long as the mother bird lets me) and will post those here from time to time. For now, it's back to work/hibernating for me. :)

My husband got your book for me-and-no kidding- it has changed my life! it's like your in my head-I'm always telling my husband how similar we seem to be, and when you got excited about the baby birds, I just had to laugh! I love your book, and I've converted not only my house, but many of my family and friends have begun converting theirs as well. thanks so much for the book and the blog-God bless!

What a sweet video! We had a pair of mourning doves nest in the motor for our garage door opener for the second year in a row this spring. Unfortunately, it was up too high for us to see much, but it was still a lot of fun! :)
